At SUNBEAM SCHOOL, we provide the form of education that builds responsibility and sensitivity towards the society. Through meaningful outreach programmes, we highlight various issues that plague our world today and help our learners initiate a systematic change. The purpose of these programmes is to empower our learners and encourage them to do their bit in making a difference to the society.

Equality Clubs

Inequality exists in our society in various forms in different School of the society.

Our equality club operates with the goal of familiarizing our students with various inequalities faced by the mankind. Through the help of various activities, it creates an awareness of the various gender, religious, economic inequalities existing in the world while inspiring them to create a change. The SUNBEAM SCHOOL learn to challenge stereotypes and take on social leadership roles.

Interact Club

The Interact Club is an initiative of the Rotary Club which develops leadership and teamwork skills among our learners in the form of local and international service projects.

The members of this club carry out various community service projects which include donation drive, tree plantation and more. By taking part in various social causes, they extend a strong hand of compassion to the less privileged friends and also include them in various celebrations.

Intra and Interschool MUN

To create global citizens of tomorrow, our school conducts Model United Nations or MUN, an academic simulation of the United Nations.

The participants are assigned with the task of playing the role of delegates from various countries and addressing various global issues. While acting as representatives of various countries, they form a global perspective and inculcate skills like research, public speaking, debating, problem solving and more.

Awareness Campaigns SEWA Project

This was a venture where our learners got an opportunity to meet the acid attack survivors and learned about the daily plights faced by them. It was a unique endeavour to break the stigma around acid attack survivors.

Oreo Drive

The members of the interact club contributed a packet of Oreo each with the orphans to accomplish the “Zero Hunger” goal and spread the magic of compassion to the ones who need it the most.

Gender Sensitization Programme

To promote gender sensitization, our school organized Master Chef competition to show that cooking is not confined to a gender role but an essential life skill.

Donation

Happiness is only real when shared. Our students discovered the true joy of giving by donating toys, clothes and books to the NGO-Goonj.

Ovarian Cancer Awareness Campaign

The mothers of SUNBEAM SCHOOL were invited to this campaign where they got to know the various symptoms and preventive measures of ovarian cancer from a renowned oncologist.

Covid Vaccination Drive

This vaccination drive created an awareness about taking preventive measures to protect themselves from the deadly pandemic.
